The Short Version
- We collect only what the Service needs to run. That’s your name, email, payment record, and course progress.
- We never see your card number. Stripe handles all payments.
- We don’t sell your data or use advertising trackers.
- You can ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing dailyuseai.com@gmail.com.
1.Who We Are
Daily-Use AI (“we,” “us”) runs daily-useai.com and the course, tools, and members’ area on it (the “Service”). The Service is owned and run by Nash Jaeger, who is responsible for your information. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and your choices. It works alongside our Terms and Conditions.
2.Information We Collect
Account information
Your name, email address, and password when you create an account. We also record whether your account is paid and when you signed up. Passwords are stored in encrypted (hashed) form by our account provider, and we can’t see them.
Payment information
Stripe processes all payments. From Stripe, we receive your name, your email, the amount and currency, the payment status and time, and a Stripe checkout reference. We use these to confirm your purchase and unlock your account. We never receive or store your full card number or security code.
Tips
If you leave a tip, we record the amount and any note you choose to include, along with your name and email.
Course progress and preferences
Your lessons completed, checklist progress, and similar settings are saved to your account so they sync across your devices.
Prompt Generator
The text you type into the Prompt Generator is sent to Anthropic, the company that makes Claude, to create your prompt. We keep a count of how many times you’ve used it each month, which enforces the monthly limit. We don’t save the text you type or the prompts it generates in our database.
Site usage (anonymous funnel analytics)
To understand how people find and use the site, we save a random ID in your browser. We record which key steps happen (for example, visiting the site, opening the signup page, starting checkout, purchasing, opening the course, or opening the tip page), when they happen, and whether you’re on a phone or a computer. These records don’t include your name unless you make a purchase. When you purchase, that event is linked to the email you paid with.
Messages you send us
If you email us, we keep your email address and the message so we can reply and help you.
Technical information
Our hosting and database providers automatically record standard technical data, like IP address, browser type, and request logs. They use it to deliver pages, keep the Service secure, and fix problems.
3.Browser Storage and Cookies
We use your browser’s local storage and session storage to keep you logged in, remember your progress, and hold the random analytics ID described above. We don’t use advertising cookies or third-party ad trackers. Stripe may set its own cookies on its checkout page to process payments and prevent fraud. You can clear or block browser storage in your browser settings, but parts of the Service, like staying logged in, may then stop working.
4.How We Use Information
- To provide the Service, verify your payment, and unlock and secure your account
- To sync your progress and run the Prompt Generator
- To send service emails, like welcome, password reset, course completion, and important notices (including any notice about changes to or the shutdown of the Service)
- To answer support requests
- To understand and improve how the site performs
- To prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our Terms, and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for targeted advertising.
6.How Long We Keep It
- Account and progress data: for as long as your account exists
- Payment and tip records: as long as needed for tax and accounting purposes, which is usually up to 7 years
- Usage analytics: only as long as they’re useful for understanding site performance, then deleted or kept only as totals
- Support emails: as long as needed to help you and keep a record of the conversation
7.If the Service Shuts Down
Our Terms let us shut down the Service on or after January 1, 2029. A shutdown is highly unlikely. If it does happen, we’ll delete account, progress, and analytics data within 90 days. The only records we’ll keep are ones we must hold for legal, tax, or accounting reasons, and we’ll keep those only for as long as required.
8.Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and database rules that let each member reach only their own data. No system is perfectly secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security. If a data breach affects your personal information, we’ll tell you as the law requires.
9.Your Choices and Rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete, or give you a copy of your personal information. To make a request, email dailyuseai.com@gmail.com from the address on your account. We’ll respond within 45 days. Deleting your account ends your access, and as our Terms explain, it doesn’t entitle you to a refund. We may keep some records if the law requires it.
Depending on where you live (for example, California, the European Economic Area, or the UK), you may have extra rights. These can include the right to object to or restrict certain uses, or to complain to your local data protection authority. We’ll honor these rights as required by law, and we won’t treat you differently for using them.
10.Children
The Service isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. Users from 13 to 17 may use the Service only with a parent or guardian’s permission. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
11.International Users
Daily-Use AI is based in the United States, and our providers may process data in the US and other countries. If you use the Service from outside the US, your information may be transferred to, and processed in, countries with different data protection laws.
12.Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll post the new version here with a new “Last updated” date. For material changes, we may also email you.
